The Manning Valley Women's Group has been in the area for more than 15 years. The major focus of the Group was running the Child Sexual Assault Service, however, in 2006, this was taken over by Health. The group is now auspiced under Manning Valley Neighourhood Services Inc. (MVNS) and its aims are to:

• To provide women’s issues such as social, cultural, economic, health and social justice principals throughout the community.
• To promote, run and encourage programs that promote, support and empower women in the community.

The Manning Valley Women's Group held a successful fundraiser for the Fistula Trust.
